Fictional demo business

Hollow Oak Tree Care, a fictional demo. The tree you keep looking at.

Hollow Oak is a made-up crew, drawn up by Grim Empire Studio to show how a tree service site can work. Trimming, removal, stump grinding, land clearing and logging.

Drawn, not photographed.

How a big one comes down.

A tree this close to a house doesn’t come down in one piece. Here’s the idea, drawn out.

Illustration of a typical tight-space removal. Every real job gets its own plan, on site.

  1. Read the tree first.

Which way it leans. Which limbs are dead. What’s underneath: the roof, the wires, the fence. And where there’s open ground to set wood down.

  2. Limbs come off one at a time.

The ones over the roof go first. A rope takes the weight, so each limb swings out over open ground and gets let down, not dropped.

  3. Then the trunk, from the top down.

In pieces small enough to handle. Each one is cut, caught on the rope and lowered to the same spot in the yard.

  4. Last piece.

Everything else is already on the ground. One more cut and it’s down. Nothing touched the house.

  5. Grind the stump out.

Down below the grass line, so you can mow right over the spot.

  6. Next spring, it’s just yard.

Ask what happens to the wood and the chips when you call.

The work.

  • Tree trimmingLimbs over the roof, the drive or the wires.
  • Tree removalWhen a tree has to go.
  • Stump grindingGround out below the grass.
  • Land clearingBrush, fence rows and ground you want back.
  • LoggingTimber on your land? Talk it through.

On a real site, this list is the business’s own services, in their own words.

Example services for a fictional business.

Real proof goes here.

On a real site, this chapter shows the real numbers: how many neighbors left a review, a local job people remember, the page where the crew posts its work.

Every number links to where you can check it yourself.

Hollow Oak is made up, so it has no reviews. We don’t invent them.

No reviews, ratings or follower counts on this page are real, because there aren’t any.

Probably up a tree right now.

If nobody picks up, the crew is likely working. A photo and a couple of details say more than a voicemail.
